Description: item #624 is a handheld transceiver (Colloquially known as a “walkie-talkie”) that has a device of unknown origin and composition screwed in to it, any attempt of removing said device has been as of so far unsuccessful. item #624 is unable to receive any signal from other handheld transceivers, and when any type of video camera is used to attempt to record the object, it does not appear on the device's screen, instead showing visuals as if the object was not there (i.e. A person holding item #624 the camera screen would show an empty hand). When an organism gives physical contact to item #624, all sound anomalously stops from their perspective, rendering them entirely deaf until they stop giving physical contact to the object (This is not limited to Grennoulians, pet animals have not responded to their name being called while having physical contact with item #624). The object reportedly feels ‘strange to the touch’, akin to ‘the sensation of the soft static electricity on a CRT television screen’.
When the PTT (push-to-talk) button on item #624 is pressed by a person holding the object, they are unable to lift their finger off of the button, as their consciousness gradually leaves their body over the period of roughly one minute, within the last 15 seconds, the affected person undergoes a tremendous amount of pain often screaming and writhing in an exaggerated fashion, as they are unable to let go of the object. It is assumed by the GBI researchers that ‘their soul gets sucked out of their body and stored within item #624’s physical makeup’ (The existence of a soul is controversial, but this is what is generally believed to be the nature of item #624). When this process is complete, the victim's skin and internals take on the look and feel of Smooth carved stone, like the type commonly used in statues. If not deafened from touching item #624, and the room it’s in is quiet enough, faint screams can be heard emanating from the object. The reason for this is anomalous effect is unknown at this time.

The device itself seems to bear simalarities to Item #: 153 in both shared components and use
item #624 was discovered on 11/4/2011, on top of a garbage disposal in an alleyway located in southern Len’eyut, Frogginsberg. It had the fingerpad prints of one Kalashnikova Deer, A known collaborator of a local activists with ties to larger global anomalous communities, causing the GBI to start a task force mission in the following year for the search and detaining of Deer, Deer was later captured and then taken in to be used as a test subject for later experiements
